What is the actual story behind that one?

Pat, I wish I knew the story behind this photo. It turned up on facebook, and I couldn't resist.

The guy in the lower right corner of the first briefing picture looks like he is saying, “Just how long does he expect us to remember this?”

Incidentally, where the guy is squatting on the gun is a seat. One man rode on either side of the tube. The tubes that hold up the foot rest carry a 3-inch high-explosive round, two on each side, making this an interesting place to ride.
