It's a Whitman style saddle, which isn't surprising, as the Perkins Campbell Company was the successor to the Melbach company that made Whitman's. They apparently purchased the company in 1914. That doesn't really answer your question, however. The Whitmans were a pattern of saddle that were purchas...
